Construction Project Manager

Lorenz Developments Ltd. is a local General Contractor looking for a Project Manager, with 10 years combined experience, on the tools and/or as a project manager. We are a dedicated group of skilled individuals who take pride in our work and love to play in the Sea to Sky. We have exciting projects in Pemberton, Whistler and Squamish, everything from new builds, to renovations, restorations and strata maintenance. We have been around since 2005 and have been voted best contractor 7 times in 10 years in the Squamish Chief Readers Choice awards.

This role is outlined by the following day to day tasks:
- Overseeing and coordinating multiple crews on multiple projects simultaneously, on site and from in the office
- Overseeing cost breakdown and budget tracking for each of their assigned projects
- Assessing construction plans and specifications and working with the crew leads on timelines, goals and priorities
- Obtaining subtrade quotes and material suppliers as the project dictates
- Managing sub trades, overseeing contract execution, all aspects of their scheduling including permit inspections and proper execution of the scope of work
- Material takeoffs for orders, placing orders and scheduling sub trades as needed
- Executing the project scope of work and staying on budget
- Working closely with crew leaders and the LDL Management team to achieve goals and meet deadlines

Job requirements:
- Advanced computer skills; ability to create and use spreadsheets, use of various tracking software systems, daily use of Google Suite, plan development software skills are an asset
- Experience in residential construction and/or commercial tenant improvement settings, on the tools and in an office environment, 10 years experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of typical construction systems and B.C. building code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Valid B.C. Drivers Licence

- Competitive wages based on experience between $85,000 - $110,000, based on experience and ability
