We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Developer or Architect with strong hands-on expertise in AWS Glue, Node.js, and TypeScript to join our team onsite in Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will bring over 12 years of experience in full-stack development and cloud architecture, particularly within the AWS platform ecosystem. This role demands deep technical leadership and solutioning abilities in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement serverless applications and data pipelines using AWS Glue, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Architect scalable and maintainable solutions leveraging core AWS services (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows using AWS Glue for complex data processing needs
• Collaborate with DevOps, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality applications
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and mentor junior team members as needed
• Participate in architectural discussions to build robust and cost-effective solutions

Mandatory Skills:

• AWS Glue (hands-on, expert-level)
• js (backend development at scale)
• TypeScript (strong programming background)
• Solid experience with the AWS stack and microservices architecture

Experience Required:

• 12+ years total IT experience
• 5 8 years of experience with AWS-based development and architecture
• Proven success in delivering cloud-native applications using AWS Glue, Node.js, and TypeScript

Nice to Have:

• AWS Certification (Developer/Architect Associate or Professional)
• Experience with other AWS data services (Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform/CloudFormation
