Architect Job Description

Currently seeking an experienced project manager with +/-5 years of professional experience and at least one year of project management experience, design experience preferred. Project Managers are a primary point of contact for Client and are a valued member of the design team providing key facilitation, guidance, input and consultant coordination with the entire project team. This multifaceted role requires excellent design perspective with balanced business judgement. Firm specializes in major maintenance and upgrade projects of PreK-12 educational facilities, some transportation, and occasional work in the military and corporate sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects valued between $5-$6 million, focusing on maintenance and upgrades of existing K-12 educational facilities.
  • Collaborate and provide facilitation for design teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Prepare and review contracts, manage budgets, and oversee invoices.
  • Guide the project team through the entire design process, providing support through construction administration.
  • Coordinate multiple consultants and resources across the firm.
  • Participate in project pursuits and staffing efforts.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
  • Strong project management skills in architecture.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects.
  • Registered architect with experience in schematic design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Architecture.
  • Experience with SketchUp and construction administration.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing contracts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Privately held company.
Depending on years of experience, PTO of between 160 to 200 hours per year.
11.5 holidays
