  Experience: 3+ years of welding experience, with a preference for experience with cranes or heavy equipment.

  Welding Prowess: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques is essential.
  
  
• 
  
  Certification Ready: Ability to pass a welding test prior to employment. A 6G Welding Certification is a definite plus!
  
  
• 
  
  Safety Mindset: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
  
  
• 
  
  Technical Aptitude: Ability to read technical drawings and weld symbols.
  
  
• 
  
  Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality in all your work.
  
  
• 
  
  Physical Capability: The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods in an industrial setting.
  
  
• 
  
  Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a technical or welding certification is preferred.
  
  

Work Environment:

You'll be working in a warehouse-based, industrial setting , with exposure to loud noises, heat, sparks, and heavy machinery. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Master of Metals: Perform precise MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on vital crane components, including booms, frames, brackets, and other structural parts. Blueprint Navigator: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to guide your work.
  
  
• Fabrication Expert: Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using a variety of tools and machines.
  
  
• Quality Assurance: Inspect your welds meticulously to ensure they meet all specifications and safety standards, and expertly repair or replace damaged components.
  
  
• Safety Champion: Maintain a clean and safe work area, strictly adhering to OSHA and company safety regulation
  
  
• Operational Support: Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other necessary tools , and assist with loading, unloading, and positioning crane parts for welding.
  
  
• Clear Communicator: Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to your supervisor promptly.
  
  
• Detailed Documentation: Complete accurate job logs and documentation for all repairs and work performed.
