Lead Fabricator - Millwright

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled Lead Fabricator with Millwright Qualifications to perform steel fabrication and millwright duties in our shop and at customer sites. This role involves occasional travel (up to 10%) to maintain, remove, or replace equipment like conveyors and industrial machinery. The ideal candidate is a team player comfortable with overtime, weekend work, and diverse working conditions.

Shift: Day

Pay: $30-34/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble steel components in-shop (90%) and at customer sites (10%).

• Perform millwright tasks, including maintenance, removal, and replacement of conveyors, dam gates, industrial machinery, and structures at customer sites (10%).

• Conduct welding and fabricating.

• Work in varied environments, from clean facilities to garbage transfer stations, including elevated conditions using manlifts.

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines, including overtime and weekends as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Adhere to safety protocols in shop and field settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in steel fabrication and millwright work.

• Proficiency in FCAW and SMAW welding.

• Experience maintaining, removing, or replacing conveyors, dam gates, or industrial machinery.

• Ability to work in elevated conditions and varied environments.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Team-oriented with flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

• Willingness to travel (up to 10% of time) within Western States.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

• Comfortable with standing, crawling, bending, and squatting for extended periods.

• Ability to work in diverse conditions, including elevated platforms and confined spaces.
