Diesel Mechanic

We are currently searching for diesel truck mechanics!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

This position is for our Geismar, Louisiana branch at 35072 E Hwy 30.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $35.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a diesel tractor / truck.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• Experience with oil changes, preventative maintenance, starters, wheel seals, and all bolt on components.
• Welding experience is a plus for pump and compressor installations, but not a must (optional)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
