Assistant Project Manager is completely responsible for the success of every job that they are assigned to. Ensuring that CARVART is accurately represented.
All Assistant Project Managers are responsible for workings along all applicable lines of business to ensure project success. Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibility for the budget, job costs, scheduling, installation, deadlines, conformance with architectural contract documents and internal proposals The APM is to work closely with the Project Manager and Director to ensure scheduling and company resources are proactively assigned weeks in advance, including, but not limited to creating and monitoring the sample submittals, shop drawings submittal schedule, material lead-times, delivery and install scheduling, sequencing and staging of materials and man-power schedules. Proactive, regular correspondence by phone and / email to clients and regular on-demand job site meetings for coordination is a requirement. The APM is not typically responsible for layouts and field dimensions unless special conditions arise, or it is convenient to do so at a job meeting.
Responsibility for reviewing and checking changes in scope when a new Architectural Supplemental Information (ASI) or Design Bulletin is issued.
Keep track and issue of weekly field reports.
Perform site installation demo instruction with subcontractors.
Keep record of EWO's/field tickets.
Handover completed punch list.
Receive certificate of completion from client.
Responsible to ensure any jobsite emergencies are handled in a professional manner consistent with the values of RG Glass.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Procore
Advanced skills in reviewing architectural drawings and engineering release documents for design and budgetary conformance
Must have advanced industry knowledge of construction sequencing specific to framing, finished construction and end-of-project job phasing.
