Company Urgently Hiring Skid Steer Operator Environmental Services**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Skid Steer Operator to support environmental field operations at our landfill and construction sites. This role involves operating skid steer equipment with specialized attachments for vegetation control and site maintenance, with future mobilization to heavy civil and environmental construction projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate skid steer with mower and other attachments for site clearing and maintenance.
+ Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
+ Safely maneuver equipment around landfill slopes and active work zones.
+ Support field crews with material movement, site prep, and cleanup.
+ Maintain compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
+ Communicate with supervisors regarding site conditions and equipment needs.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience operating skid steers in construction, landscaping, or landfill environments.
+ Familiarity with skid steer attachments, including brush cutter, bucket, and forks.
+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions.
+ Strong attention to safety and situational awareness.
+ Valid drivers license required; OSHA 10 preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficiency with using lasers for pipe leveling.
+ Proficiency with Mini Excavator & Skid Steer equipment.
+ OSHA Certifications are a plus.
