FSCA, the largest independent fleet maintenance company in the country, is currently hiring an Industrial Painter . As an Industrial painter under minimal supervision, prepare customer equipment, product, and assemblies painting; priming, painting, and sanding materials; assembly and inspection products.

Duties:

• Preparation of customer equipment prime, paint, and sand materials
• Demonstrate an understanding of mixing paints and the proper use of paint spraying equipment
• Proficient in the use of air and electrical power tools

Requirements:

• Three (3) years of industrial (wet paint) experience
• High School Diploma or and equivalent combination of education. Technical school is a plus.
• Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions.
• Experience with XALTA System Paints
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative.
• Positive attitude, Safety conscious, good instincts, and self-motivation
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
• Able to read and interpret shop orders to determine the color required.
• Able to determine the proper surface condition for acceptance of paint and prepare if required.
• Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.

USD 17.74 - 26.59 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $17.74 - $26.59/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
