Summary

This position is responsible for sales of the Specialty Gas Equipment within a regional territory through both Equipment OEM and Industrial Distribution customers. Responsibilities include activities along the entire sales process including prospecting, qualifying, solution development, negotiating, closing, delivery and on-going relationship management. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating sales with our customer and Industrial Sales teams to target industries that include Emission Monitoring, Universities & Research institutions, Biotech Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical/Coal, Medical, Forensics, and Beverage.

This position can be based remotely.

Key Deliverables
  1. Increased sales of Specialty Gas products to existing customers within the territory.
  2. Acquisition and development of new OEM customer accounts that meet Harris guidelines.
  3. Support of the Industrial Distribution channel to increase sales of Specialty Gas products through this Distribution channel.
  4. Development of relationships with Specialty Gas customers (both OEM and Distribution) including technical, application, and training support of customers as appropriate.
  5. Development of strategic channel opportunities for Specialty Gas products including Mechanical Contractors, End Users and National Accounts.
  6. Supporting Specialty Gas Product Management and Engineering teams to develop new products for the channel and coordinate new product launches.
  7. Technical support for Specialty Gas and Manifold applications for global teams.
Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business
  • 5+ years of spec gas industry knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience in spec gas sales (gas and/or equipment)
  • Able to travel to visit customers

Preferred

  • Engineering or technical background
  • Current contacts in the gas industry
  • Team management experience
