Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic II
**Location:** Cedar City, Utah
**What's the Job?**
+ Able to use all equipment and machinery, and understand and read all schematics and drawings related to the trade requirements.
+ Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair, and improve all active and new machinery and equipment without supervision.
+ Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required for maintenance and setup of machines.
+ Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations.
+ Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 3-5 years experience in maintenance of Can Assembly Presses within a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
+ Maintenance and repair experience of waxers, scroll shears, and Cone Top presses.
+ Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams.
+ Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics.
