Laborer (1st Shift)

We are seeking a Laborer for our tie treating plant in Bangor, WI.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Assists with manufacturing activities by performing the following duties:

Shift Details: Monday - Friday (6:00 am - 2:00 pm)

Principal Responsibilities:

• Applies endplates by hand or machine
• Operates banding equipment
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials
• Assist in loading and unloading charges
• Assist in storage by setting stickers and dunnage
• Tag materials with proper product tags
• Cut dunnage
• Assist in cleaning work areas, painting and maintaining property, plant and equipment
• Participates and contributes to company safety program
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: Experience with preventive maintenance and hand tools preferred
• License/Certification: N/A

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good eye/hand coordination
• Good paperwork skills
• Keeps an organized work area
• Able to diagnose and trouble shoot potential issues
