Based in Milwaukee or Madison, Wisconsin, you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your transportation design expertise. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living. This role will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and project managers.
Using your experience, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparing urban and rural roadway and highway designs using both Bentley and Autodesk design software.
- Developing plans, prepare technical specifications, develop quantities and estimates, complete peer reviews, and compile design documentation.
- Coordinating with design discipline leads.
- Promoting Jacobs quality control practices through all phases of design and plans production.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation focus preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in transportation engineering with an emphasis on roadway design
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
- Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state design guidelines(WisDOT preferred)

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $99,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
