Our main office is in Woodside, NY, which is where this position will start from daily. We service residential and commercial properties, schools, and municipalities. Salary Range $16 17 per hour Plumbers Helper Responsibilities and Requirements: Assist in responding to customer service requests related to mechanical issues with the domestic hot water or space heating equipment and work alongside and assist other employees in completing assigned work orders. Work with other Energo employees to remove, deliver and properly assemble small, medium, and large boiler sections for a completely new boiler installation. Assist in performing plumbing repairs and pipe replacement related to heating equipment, oil fuel lines, gas lines, water lines and steam lines for general service calls or for new installations. Assist in performing preventive maintenance tasks and servicing mechanical heating equipment and their associated systems. Perform tasks, report deficiencies, and maintain and complete daily records of labor and materials used. Continually communicate with supervisor(s) regarding any apparent operational deficiencies or system malfunctions Process paperwork including but not limited to service tickets, work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance forms Attend and participate in all departmental training and meetings Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required Provide exceptional customer satisfaction on a daily basis while interacting with customers Possess a drive, determination, professionalism, and the desire to be a significant factor in growing our business Work safely and use safety equipment; be familiar with and adhere to EPA and OSHA policies Ensure that Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met and maintain zero preventable incidents Report to work as scheduled with minimal absenteeism or tardiness Attend job related training and informational seminars as requested Required Skills: Experience in a similar position High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Clean Drivers License Flexible work schedule, including 6 or 7 days a week, or extended hours, as necessary Geographical knowledge of NYC service area and map reading skills Possess a positive, can-do attitude MUST be team player Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions: The physical and environmental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and functions of the job and are not meant to be all-inclusive.
