We are looking to add a temporary landscaping laborer/tree climber to our Grounds Maintenance Team at Luke Air Force Base. MUST HAVE, DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING: Valid driver's license (REAL ID), passport or tribal ID, personal vehicle, and pass a background check Tree Trimmer: $24.00+/HR Depending on experience Knowledge of climbing tools and equipment. Ability to safely operate a chainsaw. Rigging experience. Perform tree trimming and pruning to enhance growth and maintain the health of trees. Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches for trimming. Assess tree conditions and identify any potential hazards or diseases. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure cohesive care of outdoor spaces. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including regular inspections and cleaning. Follow safety guidelines to minimize risks while working at heights or with heavy equipment. Provide recommendations for tree care practices to clients or team members. Grounds Maintenance Foreman: $22.00+/HR Depending on Experience Drive truck and trailer. Ensure crew is following safety program. Ensure crews are working in an efficient manner. Communicate with manager daily concerning progress and equipment maintenance. Perform grounds keeping and landscape maintenance duties. Mow lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. Trim shrubs and pull weeds. Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger. Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs. Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping. Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed Crew Members perform a variety of landscape maintenance activities. This includes the use of hand tools and operating a variety of power-driven equipment.
