We create and manufacture state-of-the-art products that make a difference in many industries including defense, scientific, medical and commercial.Join a leader in the RF industry with over 30 years of experience and significant sustained growth.Microwave Techniques is searching for a Crate Builder in our Gorham, Maine location.What will you do in this role?Build and assemble crates and pallets using woodworking hand tools and power tools.Reads shipping notices, and engineering drawings, and assess product to determine size and shape of crate/container, materials to be used, and types of supports and braces to be used.Lays out dimensions on materials with ruler, measuring tape, and pencil.Saws materials to size, using handsaws and powered saws.Assembles materials, using nailing or stapling machine, screws, bolts, glue, and hand tools.Package and prepare our large industrial equipment for shipmentMove crates within the designated shipping area.Pack and secure parts in pallets and cratesLoads product onto trucks, utilizing a forklift.
