Northworks Architects & Planners
Northworks Architects & Planners is seeking a full-time Interior Architect to join our Chicago studio, supporting Jackson, WY and Mountain West region projects. This role is ideal for early-career designers with 2-5 years of experience in an architectural office setting, especially those interested in interiors and custom high-end residential work.
The position is production-focused, offering the opportunity to work closely with project teams through all phases of design, with particular emphasis on documentation and detailing of interior architectural elements.
Responsibilities
Support project teams in the development of interior architecture for residential and hospitality projects
Produce interior drawing sets, elevations, millwork details, and schedules
Assist in material and finish selections, documentation, and coordination
Collaborate with architects and designers across offices, primarily supporting Jackson and Mountain West projects
Contribute to project delivery from concept design through construction documentation
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience working in an architecture office
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited university
Strong proficiency in Revit
Experience with or ability to learn Enscape, Lumion, Autodesk, and other visualization tools
Strong communication, technical drawing, and organizational skills
Interest in interior detailing, materials, and finish selections
Ability to work full-time, in-person at our Chicago office
