Civil Engineer

A Civil Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Greenville, SC area. This role involves designing and analyzing site development components including grading, drainage, and utilities for medium to large-scale industrial projects,strong Civil 3D proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

responsibilities:

• Conduct site development, master planning, and site selection for industrial projects.
  
  
• Plan underground utility routing and overall site space usage.
  
  
• Perform hydrology analysis for storm drain system design.
  
  
• Analyze and design gravity-based wastewater systems.
  
  
• Develop final grading plans, including cut/fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
  
  
• Create erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans.
  
  
• Support permit approvals by researching and applying local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) regulations.
  
  
• Perform stormwater modeling and analysis using tools like StormCAD and CivilStorm.

Skills:

• Expertise in medium to large-scale industrial site analysis and design.
  
  
• Proficient in all AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules.
  
  
• Experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam.
  
  
• strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• Proven ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
  
  
• Fast learner with motivation to expand technical knowledge.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  
  
• 5-10 years experience preferred.
