Drywall Tapper**

**Job Description**

We're looking for a skilled Drywall Tapper to join a dynamic and growing company that offers a comprehensive range of specialty construction services. These services include building dry-down, indoor environmental remediation, fire and flood mitigation, and interior/exterior construction.

**Responsibilities**

+ Make accurate measurements to cut and hang drywall for journeyman tapper

+ Perform drywall installs and new builds

+ Tape and mud drywall

+ Paint and spray texture on various projects

+ Conduct paint patch work and paint preparation

+ Assist in various areas of drywall tasks as needed

**Essential Skills**

+ 6 months to 1+ year of carpentry experience

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

+ Experience with hand and power tools

+ 1+ year of construction or general labor experience

+ Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans, and other specifications

+ Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete company-specific safety orientation

+ Ability to cut and measure accurately

+ Capability to work in commercial spaces

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Must be able to pass an MVR to go permanent

**Work Environment**

The company is located on the Elk River/Ramsey border, offering services to the Commercial Real Estate Industry. Work is conducted on a first shift basis, requiring candidates to travel within the Twin Cities. Teams usually consist of 1-2 members, working strictly around the metro at various commercial buildings. The company provides tools, but contractors are welcome to bring their own customized tools.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, Minnesota.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
