Journeyman Industrial Electrician**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on **Journeyman Electrician** to support daily operations in our high-volume manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of our electrical systems and machinery. Ideal candidates will have a strong experience in industrial environments and well-rounded mechanical aptitude to assist with cross-functional equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Install, modify, and maintain electrical systems and industrial machinery according to specifications and blueprints
+ Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions using tools, meters, and diagnostics
+ Support production by ensuring electrical components align with manufacturing demands
+ Assist with mechanical repairs on equipment, including conveyors, motors, and pneumatic systems
+ Adhere strictly to National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA guidelines, and company safety protocols
+ Maintain detailed logs of electrical and mechanical maintenance performed
+ Collaborate closely with machine operators, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to address issues quickly
+ Train and mentor junior electricians and technicians as needed
**Qualifications & Skills:**
+ Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Delaware
+ 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
+ Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and troubleshooting techniques
+ Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
+ Familiarity with PLCs, conduit bending, and industrial control panels
+ Comfortable working around large machinery and fast-paced production lines
+ Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and effective communication skills
