Picture Framer - Woodworker

Our Frame shop is currently accepting applications for a picture framer (woodroom). Will train the right person for this position (This is a very busy shop with demanding deadlines)
Job will include the following tasks:
o Full understanding of custom frame orders in order to facilitate frame production process
o Chop join sanding of frames
oAccurate measuring skills
oCustom framing terminology
oFrame joining skills; as well as, woodworking skills to include:
olearn proper table saw, router, shaping and sanding methods
oOperation of Frame Square miter saw
oLearn wood milling techniques (Table saw & Router) Learn to shape wood from 2d renderings.
o Inventory Management.
o Must be able to maintain tools and keep a clean work space, as well as weekly maintenance of equipment.
