General Laborer

Our client, a leader in the water treatment industry, is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the operations team supporting essential water management processes.

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Bedford Park, IL

Pay Range: $22.50 per hour

Shift: Weekends, Nights, Days (05:00-07:00)

What's the Job?

• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers.
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work on filters, change out valves, and handle different sizes of pipes.
• Willingness to wear PPE chemical suits when necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
