Preconstruction Manager

Phoenix, AZ | Commercial & Industrial | Full-Time

A fast-growing general contractor known for tackling complex, overlooked projects ranging up to $35M builds — is hiring a Director/Manager of Preconstruction . This role will lead all early-phase planning, estimating, and budgeting for diverse JOC, commercial, healthcare, industrial, and TI projects.

• Oversee all preconstruction efforts: budgeting, estimating, risk, and scheduling

• Manage and mentor estimators and precon staff

• Lead bid preparation and client presentations

• Ensure a smooth transition from precon to construction teams

• Use tools like Procore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Primavera

• Help refine internal processes and promote best practices

• 10+ years in commercial or industrial construction

• Strong background in estimating/preconstruction

• JOC (Job Order Contracting) experience is a plus

• Skilled in reading technical drawings and managing deadlines

• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid

• Construction-related degree preferred, not required
