Water Resources Engineer
A prominent 50+ year multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering Firm is looking for a Water Resources Engineer Project Manager to join their talented team. The Project Manager will primarily oversee Water/Wastewater projects working with municipal clients in the public sector throughout the Midwest. The role involves supporting clients through planning, design, construction, and operations, with frequent client interaction, mentorship of technical staff, and oversight on technical aspects of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management including project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC.
- Oversee planning and design functions for water resource projects, including levee design, dams, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, storage facilities, and more.
- Client relationship management and business development.
- Assist with mentoring emerging engineering staff.
- Oversight of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents.
- Assist with project funding packages with assistance from funding staff.
- Provide project updates at public forums.
Desired Experience:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License (strongly preferred)
- Experience with client interaction including council/board meetings.
- Project Management experience required.
- 5+ years of prior experience with Water/Wastewater Projects
- Preferred experience with potable water treatment infrastructure and design master planning, wastewater collection and storm system design master planning, and flood control, reservoir/dam, irrigation facility studies and designs.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and GIS software.
- Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
