Civil Project Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer/Project Manager

Our client is a CBE who specializes in civil engineering for a variety of project types in the Washington, DC area such as multi-family, commercial, and federal government campuses. They are currently seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join their land development team in Washington, DC!

Responsibilities

• Work on large-scale, diverse land development projects for both the public and private sectors
• Perform site planning and infrastructure design
• Engage in land development and stormwater management
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design tasks
• Prepare and review survey reports
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of civil engineers, landscape architects, planners, security consultants, and surveyors
• Ensure project completion within established timelines

Essential Skills

• 3-8+ years of civil engineering experience (land development design projects - stormwater management, site grading, site planning, drainage design, erosion & sediment control, floodplains, etc.)
• DC project experience is a major plus, but not a must have
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience in site planning and infrastructure design
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) Certification or PE (Professional Engineer) License is preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
