Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance on packaging machinery, set up and change over machines, and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems, reading technical diagrams and blueprints, performing general electrical maintenance, and inspecting transformers and circuit breakers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on packaging machinery.
+ Set up and change over machines efficiently.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
+ Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
+ Perform general electrical maintenance tasks.
+ Inspect transformers and circuit breakers to ensure functionality.
+ Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong mechanical repair and preventive maintenance skills.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Experience in food packaging and machine change overs.
+ Ability to read and interpret SOP/GMP, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with HMIs and PLCs is a plus.
+ Proficiency with electrical hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
+ Experience with amp meters, ohmmeters, and diagnostic equipment.
+ Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish); open to Spanish-speaking only candidates.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
