Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for commercial projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations for commercial projects. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Monitor project schedules and adjust work as needed to meet deadlines. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design. Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation. Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Lead site meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site. Essential Skills Strong background in commercial construction. Proven ability to lead field operations effectively. Experience in construction management and supervision. General contractor and subcontractor management. Ground-up construction experience. Safety enforcement and management. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, codes, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Why Work Here?
