Description
Meet with customers to discuss proposed construction; Survey the worksite, analyze blueprints, and record relevant specs; Determine required equipment, tools, materials, and labor; Collect information regarding availability and pricing from vendors and subcontractors; Prepare cost estimates for management review and approval; Track expenditures and prepare interim and final reports for management review; Prepare quarterly and annual cost reports; and, Maintain list of reliable vendors and subcontractors. Travel 50% of the time to unanticipated sites throughout Philadelphia county. Required education: High school diploma or foreign equivalent; Postsecondary coursework in accounting and operations management. Required experience: Two years of experience in an accounting position. Experience must include purchase and sales accounting, invoice production and tracking, and analysis of financial statements. Other requirements: Must possess a valid driver license; must be available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; and, some overtime required.
