Job Summary

Legacy Fence Inc is a high quality commercial fence company looking to fill a position for Project Manager/Estimator Jr. We are seeking someone detail-oriented and proactive that is familiar to the construction trade. We cover 8 states in the Midwest with our primary shop location in Harrisonville, MO. Our mission is to provide quality security solutions for our customers in a time efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, managing timelines, and ensuring that all aspects of the project align with client expectations. The selected person will work closely with current project manager and be given more responsibility as she/he learns the tasks.

Responsibilities

.Generating leads through networking with municipalities, school districts, general contractors, and businesses.Maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors, managing bid software and bid process ensuring a timely submission and follow-up.Create purchase order and monitor due date, reporting, supplier performance data, and material requirements data.Issue RFI's and analyze quotations for existing/new materials from current/new suppliers in line with project specifications and timelines.Communicate with site superintendent, follow directions, and work in a steady and safe pace.Visit job sites as needed to ensure quality of work and/or delivery of material.Work with the estimating, design, and production teams to identify possible suppliers and materials.Maintain awareness of product lead times, supplier capacities, material pricing trends, and inventory records as well as monitor and evaluate inventory levels.Vendor negotiation for best price of product provide pricing resource to sales and estimating.Work effectively with third party logistics companies to set up shipments from supplier to production facilities and job sites.Ability to travel in and out of state for site visits and client meetings.Reviewing job contracts, architectural drawings, and specifications.Checking shop drawingsAttend progress meetingsOversee and manage multiple commercial projects from start to finish.Conduct site inspections, including; taking photos, performing core cuts, and evaluating scope of work.Serve as the primary point of contact for for customers.Work with local municipalities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.Maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and secure approval for change orders.Focus on delivering high-quality results, while managing the big picture.Ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring project success.

Additionally, the job may involve other tasks, for the good of the business, including but not limited to:

Experience

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documentsValid Drivers LicenseDegree in construction management or equivalent experience in industry2+ years in customer facing experienceAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work on various duties effectivelyResides in Kansas City Metro/ Cass County areaExcellent attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skillsMath skillsWell organizedLeadership skillsConflict Resolution SkillsTeam Player and Positive attitudeComputer Skills - Microsoft, Google Suite, and other relevant software.Self-StarterSales experience a plusFencing experience a plus
