Description of Duties\:

The Facilities Project Foreman supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will\:

· The Facilities Project Foreman will improve the efficiency and quality of facility projects. This role addresses challenges in project coordination, supervision, and adherence to safety and quality standards, which improves project timelines and reduces cost. Key responsibilities\:

· Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews for facilities projects.

· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.

· Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work stays on schedule.

· Conduct job site inspections to maintain quality standards and safety compliance, including OSHA regulations.

· Maintain clear communication with project managers, stakeholders, and internal teams.

· Train new crew members and mentor less experienced staff in best practices.

· Track work progress and report on project milestones and any issues encountered to project management.

· Troubleshoot and resolve problems that may arise during project lifecycle.

· Foster a collaborative work environment, resolving conflicts and promoting team cohesion.

· Have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and communicate with stakeholders.

· Have problem solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions while under pressure.

· Have strong attention to regulatory detail and accountability.

Basic Requirements\:

· Must have 1.5, or more, years of direct experience as a foreman on construction or facilities projects

· Must have advanced knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and materials.

· Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.

· Must have a strong understanding of OSHA guidelines, building codes, and safety standards.

· Must have basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

· Must have a valid driver's license (for periodic operation of company or government vehicles)

· Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with construction, including lifting up to 70-80 lbs., bending, and squatting.

· Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements\:

· Have an Associate's, or higher, degree in construction management or related field or a certification/license in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter, etc.).

· Have an OSHA 10 or 30 Certificate

· Have a First Aid/CPR certification

· Have experience in a supervisory or leadership role on facilities projects.

· Have experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System such as MAXIMO.

This position is expected to pay $90,000 - $110,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
