Job Description

Marine Electrician

Mills Marine and Ship Repair, LLC (Mills Marine) is currently seeking a Marine Electrician at Kittery, ME ( PNSY ).

Clearance Requirement:

Must be a US citizen with a DOD final Secret security clearance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Demonstrated experience with electrical operation, repair, maintenance, and assessment of US Navy Auxiliary equipment to include, but not limited to:

Fire Pumps, Fuel Pumps, Lube Oil Pumps, Sea Water Pumps, Condensate Pumps, Potable Water Pumps, Main SW Circulating Pumps, Distilling Plants (Evaporators & Reverse Osmosis), Main Drainage Systems, Sewage Systems, Solid Waste Equipment, Oily Water Separators, Condensers/Heat Exchangers, and all associated valves/piping/equipment.

Education:

Marine Electrician position requires a minimum of a high school diploma

Experience:

Specialized experience shall be demonstrated in troubleshooting and assessing electrical auxiliary equipment, in the official capacity of a Subject Matter Expert ( SME ) for a US Navy Engineering Activity, Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM ), or industrial/commercial equivalent.

Demonstrated experience with electrical operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and assessment of US Navy Auxiliary equipment to include, but not limited to: Sliding Pad Eyes, Boat Davits, Cranes, Capstans, Antenna Tilting
