Form Carpenter**

**Pay: $25-$29 p/hr**

**Job Description**

The Form Carpenter Technician will have hands-on experience in setting up and dismantling concrete formwork systems, specifically Doka and Symons. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction drawings, safety protocols, and concrete forming techniques. This role is essential to ensuring the structural integrity and timely completion of concrete construction projects.

**Responsibilities**

+ Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine formwork requirements.

+ Assemble and install Doka and Symons form systems for foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.

+ Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials to build customized forms.

+ Ensure formwork is properly aligned, leveled, and braced to meet structural and safety standards.

+ Strip and clean forms after concrete placement and prepare them for reuse.

+ Collaborate with concrete crews to ensure timely pours and proper curing.

+ Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

+ Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines and procedures.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial form carpentry, with proven expertise in Doka and Symons systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.

+ Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and construction site safety.

+ Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

+ Reliable transportation and punctuality.

+ OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with vertical and horizontal formwork systems.

+ Familiarity with other form systems (e.g., Peri, EFCO) is a plus.

+ Ability to lead or mentor junior carpenters.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
