responsibilities:
- Leading business development, sales forecasting, and cultivating key relationships within the industry
- Serving as the primary point of contact for key contacts, overseeing program investigations, and directing all structural engineering consulting services to ensure high quality, timely, and compliant solutions
- Managing the overall financial performance of the structural engineering team, analyze data for decision making, and implementing best practices
- Ensuring design and execution to state/local codes and permitting, and implementing thorough QA/QC processes to exceed industry standards
- Promoting a high performance culture by mentoring staff, develop high performing teams, and participating in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of new talent
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineering License Required, with SE license preferred
- 15 years in a structural engineering field with 8 of those being supervisory roles
- Proven experience leading structural engineering projects for commercial construction such as retail or restaurants
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
