As an Electrical Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. You will provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will also be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, analyzing technical requirements, and implementing electrical engineering strategies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Electrical Engineers to design, execute, and commission Electrical Engineering scope of material handling projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve project execution risks.
- Interface with customers to develop high-quality designs that meet customer needs.
- Work with project team to manage project deliverables, tasks, schedules, and financials.
- Prioritize tasks based on schedule requirements.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Demonstrable ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Ability to timely escalate issues and roadblocks to engineering management.
- Ability to adapt and mold execution strategy as per project needs and changing priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel 60%.
- 2 + years of hands-on material handling industry experience.
