Sheet Metal Installer Location: Bedford Park, IL Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00 Per Hour + Bonus & Commission opportunities Position Overview: Seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components for HVAC systems across residential and commercial projects. This role requires experience with blueprint reading and a strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality, code-compliant installations. Key Responsibilities: Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal for HVAC ductwork and related components Install sheet metal in both new construction and retrofit applications Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications accurately Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes Coordinate with team members, contractors, and supervisors on-site Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal installation or HVAC ductwork preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (training available if needed) Benefits: Multiple medical insurance plans with employer contributions Free employee-only dental and vision coverage Supplemental insurance options Free short-term disability coverage Discounted long-term disability and additional life insurance options Paid vacation, holidays, and personal time off 401(k) with employer matching Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
