Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled fabricator for a custom metal shop. This position involves working at your own welding station, where you will be provided work orders and blueprints to complete various custom metal projects. The primary focus will be on MIG welding, and you will use your fitting and assembly skills to fulfill orders. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding tasks according to provided blueprints and work orders. Utilize flux core and hard wire welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints accurately to fabricate metal components. Ensure the fitting and assembly of welded parts meet quality standards. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year experience in MIG welding and fabrication from blueprints. Proficiency in flux core and hard wire welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in custom metal fabrication is preferred. Familiarity with grinding techniques is beneficial. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
