Starting at:$24.00 per hour
Shift Details:6:00 am- 4:30 pm (core hours)

Welder Duties / Requirements:
Mig Welding -
Basic welds - Flat & vertical down
Welding steel & sheet metal
Perform welding applications by applying appropriate welding techniques via the use of a wire welder.
Demonstrate knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the welding field.
Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts, stoves or fireplace products.
Prepare metal surfaces for welding activities.
Perform assembly processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, as well as electronic and pneumatic tooling.
Inspect welded joints using visual inspection and correct welds as necessary to meet quality standards.
Perform assembly processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, as well as electronic and pneumatic tooling.
