Senior Estimator

A respected and growing commercial construction firm is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their Pittsburgh-based team. Known for delivering high-quality, complex projects in healthcare, higher education, cultural, and institutional markets , this company values collaboration, client focus, and long-term team development.

This is a confidential search for a seasoned Estimator ready to play a key role in shaping preconstruction efforts across multiple project @types.

• Lead estimates from conceptual budgeting through GMP and final buyout

• Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and business development teams

• Develop scope packages, perform quantity takeoffs, and evaluate subcontractor pricing

• Support strategic planning with real-time market analysis and cost forecasting

• Participate in client meetings and internal reviews to guide project alignment

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

• 8+ years of commercial estimating experience , preferably with a General Contractor or CM

• Strong background in healthcare, higher ed, cultural, or institutional projects

• Skilled in conceptual estimating and detailed bid-level takeoffs

• Comfortable leading complex pursuits with multiple internal and external stakeholders

• Proficient with On-Screen Takeoff, BuildingConnected, and other estimating tools

• Excellent communicator who thrives in a team-oriented culture

• Hybrid schedule after onboarding (flexibility built into the culture)

• 3 weeks of PTO starting day one

• Salary up to $135K+ depending on experience
