- Develop and modify detailed Revit models for industrial plant layouts.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to interpret design concepts.
- Translate design concepts into accurate models and drawings.
- Maintain and update Revit families, templates, and standards for consistency.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural) for model integration.
- Ensure clash detection in models.
- Produce construction documents, layout plans, and as-built drawings.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting processes.
- Ensure compliance with company and client drafting standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong drafting skills in industrial plant layouts.
- Understanding of industrial plant components such as conveyors, tanks, piping systems, and structural supports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience drafting with Revit, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or BIM 360 is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
This position offers flexibility with the option to work either 100% remotely or in-office in Johnston, alongside a team of three engineers and three project managers.
