Revit Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Revit Drafter to develop and modify detailed Revit models for industrial plant layouts, including equipment, piping, structural elements, and utilities. The role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate models and drawings, while maintaining and updating Revit families, templates, and standards to ensure consistency across projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify detailed Revit models for industrial plant layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to interpret design concepts.
• Translate design concepts into accurate models and drawings.
• Maintain and update Revit families, templates, and standards for consistency.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural) for model integration.
• Ensure clash detection in models.
• Produce construction documents, layout plans, and as-built drawings.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting processes.
• Ensure compliance with company and client drafting standards and procedures.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong drafting skills in industrial plant layouts.
• Understanding of industrial plant components such as conveyors, tanks, piping systems, and structural supports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience drafting with Revit, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or BIM 360 is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards.

This position offers flexibility with the option to work either 100% remotely or in-office in Johnston, alongside a team of three engineers and three project managers.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
