Mechanical Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our North Loop office, with the flexibility to work remotely. The ideal candidate should possess project management experience and have worked on projects in K-12 education, healthcare, or multifamily sectors. The role involves direct client interaction and managing projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead mechanical engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
  • Utilize Revit for design and redlining tasks, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Perform load calculations and ensure engineering standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineering experts.
Essential Skills
  • 4+ years of HVAC design experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit with 4+ years of practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in performing load calculations.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems is a plus.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative office setting, which recently opened and is part of a growing location. Our office in St. Cloud houses approximately eight team members across various engineering disciplines. The North Loop office generally accommodates three to four individuals, with flexible working hours from Monday to Friday. This role offers opportunities to engage directly with business development and project management functions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
