HVAC Technician Job Description Join our team as an HVAC Technician, where you will be responsible for performing service and installation of HVAC systems in commercial settings. You will play a vital role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC units, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC units in commercial settings. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems. Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC equipment. Utilize hand and power tools related to the HVAC field. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical work, troubleshooting, repair, and installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with boilers and preventive maintenance. EPA Certification. Valid driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2 - 4 years of commercial or residential HVAC experience. Flexibility to perform both service and installation work. OSHA 10 certification. Reliable transportation. Willingness to undergo an internal MVR check to drive a service vehicle. Why Work Here? A service vehicle will be provided for your convenience. Work Environment Work in a commercial construction environment with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. All tasks are local, allowing you to stay close to home. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
