Job Description
Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer
Location : Gainesville, GA / Greenville, SC (On-site)
Duration : Full-Time
Interview Mode : Video Interview
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- 8+ years of experience in industrial utilities design.
- Active PE license (preferably in NC or GA).
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SKM .
- Strong leadership to act as project electrical lead, coordinating with engineers, designers, and clients.
- Proficient in electrical design for power systems, UPS, emergency generators, telecom & lighting .
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical designs for commercial/industrial projects.
- Develop and review power distribution, lighting, communication, and backup systems.
- Prepare high-quality construction documents per NEC, NFPA, and other codes.
- Conduct load analysis, short-circuit studies, and coordination reports.
- Oversee project timelines, budget, and scope across multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with clients.
- Provide technical support during construction phases (RFIs, site visits, submittals).
Additional Notes:
- Some travel to project sites may be required.
- The role is primarily office-based with oversight across multiple project sites.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in field conditions when required.
