Chipton-Ross is seeking a JOINER 1ST class for an opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.Additional hourly PD is 18.38 for those that live over 75 miles with valid utility bill. This new rate will require a minimum of 2 hours worked daily and is capped at 8 hours maximum per day. There is NO differentiation for Premium or No Premium.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Joiner or related craft experience in shipfitting, carpentry or sheetmetal and be able to pass the Tacker Certification test.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Fabricate, assemble, install and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior wood finishes, cabin accessories, wood and metal deck structures. Responsible for the proper mounting off furniture, racks and bins, partition bulkheads, decorative ceilings, and false decks, as well as other outfitting items.**A skillsl assessment will be a written and hands on test.REQUIRED EDUCATION:Accredited High School diploma or equivalent, Master Tech Certification.WORK HOURS:5/40, workweek.1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.
