Position: Carpenter/ Refurb Technician

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 4:45 pm

Pay: $20-25/hr

Essex Meadows is seeking a hospitality focused Maintenance Refurb Technician join our team! This position is responsible for demo, clean-up and reconstruction of sold apartments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demolition work
  • Moving interior walls
  • Installing cabinets, molding and baseboards
  • Installing plumbing fixtures - faucet and toilet installation
  • Residential painting
  • Perform record keeping tasks associated with apartment turnovers.
  • Perform general labor under supervisor's request.
  • Perform snow removal duties when necessary.
  • Assist Maintenance Staff as needed
  • Be available for emergency situations.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Schooling or experience with carpentry/building background and or proven work history preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write perform basis arithmetic and speak effectively.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Must be comfortable and proficient with technology to support department goals
