Container Shop Laborer

Groot East, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a Container Shop Laborer to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL .

Our Laborer will work directly with the our shop team to ensure a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop. We seek individuals with a leadership mentality and desire to grow with promotional opportunities in this role.

Pay rate: $20.00/hr

Schedule: 6am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean restrooms and public areas of the shop.
• Wash out and sanitize garbage receptacles and prepare for pickup.
• Assist shop team with other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
