Your impact
The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for leading the development of individual projects for a federal client as an owner's representative. The Architectural Project Manager will coordinate the collection of project requirements across multiple disciplines to include: Facilities, Infrastructure, Security, and IT to ensure holistic project planning is occurring. The PM will maintain command of the requirements and will work collaboratively to develop strategic acquisition approaches and will assist to advance projects thru planning, programming and into execution. The PM will have responsibility for establishing project scopes, cost, and quality objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage design of projects from programming to post-occupancy. Includes building and
maintaining relationships with end user, professional peers, other service providers, and
subject matter experts, etc.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of design/construction professionals on projects as
assigned, manage communication and customer expectations throughout the entire
project.
- Perform construction administration duties, such as reviewing and answering RFIs,
reviewing submittals, producing field reports, walking the site and verifying accuracy and
compliance of construction with drawings, Program of Requirements (POR), Campus
Design Guides and Construction Standards; participate in creation and closeout of punch-
list, and more.
- Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work,
project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan
schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project
qualification process; conducts standard to complex request for proposals; complete bid
analysis; lead evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients.
- Apply PM/CM best practices and client processes to design, construction and commissioning stages.
- Perform design reviews and submit comments in required forma.
- Interpret construction documents and certify that work is performed in accordance with the contract.
- Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved
timelines. Report status and variances. Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule
- Prepare blocking and stacking plans, schematic or conceptual designs, and design intent drawings in AutoCAD. Ensure drawings comply with client standards and requirements.
- Prepare detailed scopes of work for new projects or Changes on existing projects.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction-related field
- 10 years of experience with federal building design and construction projects
- Top Secret security clearance
- Proficiency AutoCAD and Revit

180,000.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
200,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $180,000.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
