Carpenter Needed ASAP

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Carpenter for an immediate start in Easton, PA!

LONG TERM PROJECT, WEEKLY PAY

PAY: $25-$32/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40+ hours/week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am 4:30pm
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 16 months (temp-to-hire)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our growing team. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures using various materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
-Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications and material requirements.
-Framing & Construction: Construct and erect frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs, using lumber and other materials.
-Installation & Repair: Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures, and perform repairs and renovations as needed.
-Material Selection & Measurement: Select appropriate materials, measure and cut lumber, and ensure accurate dimensions.
-Tool & Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and planers.
-Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
-Quality Control: Inspect and ensure the quality of workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
-Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members, including contractors, architects, and other tradespeople.

Ability to perform the following:
-Layout
-Framing
-Concrete formwork/placement/finishing
-Installation of doors/frames/hardware
-Rough blocking
-Install specialties
-Install casework
-Install trim

Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Carpenter.
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
-Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
-Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
-Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
-Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
-Valid driver's license.
-Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Formal apprenticeship or vocational training in carpentry.
-Certification or licensure in carpentry.
-Experience in both residential and commercial construction.
-Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
