Commercial Construction Superintendent

A leading general contractor specializing in high-end commercial, institutional, and residential construction, is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Boston, MA . This is a field leadership role for someone who excels in managing complex, ground-up builds and knows how to lead teams with confidence, clarity, and integrity.

What Youll Do as the Senior Superintendent:
Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Manage subcontractors daily progress to ensure alignment with project plans, specs, and timelines
Enforce safety compliance and uphold clean, orderly jobsite conditions
Provide regular field updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders
Conduct daily reports, inspections, and photo documentation
Run on-site coordination meetings and resolve issues in real time
Maintain site logistics and delivery schedules
Serve as a professional point of contact for owners, architects, and inspectors

Must-Haves as the Senior Superintendent:
7+ years of superintendent experience on vertical construction projects
Strong background in ground-up builds and jobsite coordination
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and keep complex projects on track
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficient with Procore and standard field reporting tools
OSHA 30 certification
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Nice-to-Haves as the Senior Superintendent:
Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) strongly preferred
Experience across multiple sectors, including commercial, institutional, and high-end residential
Deep familiarity with Boston-area construction logistics
