Support herbicide application efforts, when needed, using boom sprayers, backpack units, or mounted equipment. Help with other vegetation management tasks when not mowing, including weed whipping, planting, or forestry work. Perform basic maintenance and field repairs on mowing and related equipment to ensure operational readiness. Maintain daily records, including work logs, herbicide applications, and site notes. What You Will Need To Be Successful: Demonstrated experience and confidence operating tractors for long mowing days on uneven, expansive sites. Familiarity with safe use and maintenance of land management tools and equipment (e.g. skid loaders, sprayers, trailers, UTVs). 2+ years of experience in landscaping, agriculture, or vegetation management roles. Experience with herbicide use and invasive/native species identification is preferred. Must have or be willing to obtain within 3 months (with company assistance): Class A commercial driver's license with air brake and tanker endorsements MN Commercial Pesticide Applicator License Ability to read site plans and maps, follow directions, and communicate clearly with teammates. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
