Concrete Carpenter**

**Location:** Colorado Springs, CO
**Contract Length:** 3-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Long-Term or Permanent Employment)
**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Carpenter to join our team for a high-profile transfer station project in Colorado Springs. This role involves the construction of three vertical concrete walls, each 22 feet high, with substantial footers. The position requires expertise in vertical formwork, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
**Key Responsibilities**
Interpret construction drawings and specifications to build and install accurate concrete formwork.
Construct vertical concrete walls (up to 22 feet high) and pour footers to required specifications.
Install and tie rebar for reinforced concrete structures.
Cut, shape, and assemble forms using hand and power tools.
Ensure compliance with all quality standards and OSHA safety regulations.
Collaborate with supervisors and tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
**Qualifications**
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in concrete formwork, especially vertical form setting.
Experience with Symons or similar forming systems preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and general construction practices.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Able to handle demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working at heights or in variable weather conditions.
